I have been considering for the past couple of years to try and put my mare to one of helgstrands stallions - Suarez.
However last year covid put pay to that as we weren’t sure on the shipments getting through and our vets were emergency only for with Brexit I wonder if it’s feasible with the additional paperwork and fees. I know that elite stallions has sent a few test packages which seemed to have worked.
Another option is to focus on Uk stallions until we see how things are going to work?
I also like Kerouac who stands in the UK and may be a more reliable option for the moment.
Does anyone else have thoughts about getting semen in from Europe this year? What have you decided to do?
Any recommendations on modern dressage stallions standing in the Uk. Sensible temperament wanted as mare can be hot and preferably add a bit of height.
