In my BD mag came a brochure for the above saddles. Reading the blurb the tree inc the points is supposed to flex with the horse's spine.

Sounds interesting and endorsed by a couple of well known riders. Just wondered if anyone here had tried them?

Yes, they do sound interesting.

Claire, I may have got this wrong but as far as I can see the points/tree actually flex with the horses movement whereas the wow saddles flex to allow a change of headplate and once that is in place there is no movement.
Someone put me right if that is not so.

I've emailed for details but no reply as yet.

Well I know WOW saddles do have a tree that flexes, like these saddles. If you go to this-

http://www.wowsaddles.com/wow/wow%20tree.htm

it explains how it moves laterally, to allow the shoulders to move. This is one huge benefit my friend found with her WOW saddle, as she competes BD and her horse has gone fantastically well since using it. I don't think shes been out of the top 3 in her comps since using it.

BUT these saddles maybe more flexible

will be interesting to see as they could be very good.
