Semi flex saddles

Who has one? I have one recently fitted by Barrie. The change in the horse during the initial fitting session was remarkable - all of us very pleased to see how quickly he realised he could stretch to the floor if he wanted which was unusual for a horse with usually high head carriage! Have now ridden in it a few times and horse remains happy, but taking things slowly for now.
Has anyone had any problems with these saddles - things to look out for in the 'transition' period? I am still having to very consciously check placement of the saddle ensuring positioning behind shoulder. Barrie is passing in mid September and will recheck fit then with settling of the flock and potential muscle gain in mind. In your experiences, how quickly do the horses gain more top line?
Very pleased with the saddle so far - fingers crossed it keeps having the desired effect

A friend of mine has one and from day one the horse has moved much more freely and happily. As far as I know she has had no problems or quirks at all and she has had it a while now - Barrie has been out to check and fiddle a bit but thats all.

I have an old Barrie saddle which Im going to have converted to SF - its hard to believe that my old faithful dressage saddle could be even better than it already is - Im rather embarrassingly over excited about it all!
