semi-retired work load??

I'm just wondering how much work people give their semi-retired older horse to keep them ticking over? many thanks

Jerry did 1-2 light flatwork sessions and then hacked the rest of the week when he was 21.
He's now decided that being retired isn't for him. :tongue3:

I hacked my boy three four times a week over all terrain at all speed ( normally chosen by him lol ) at the moment he's being ridden by my friends wee girl and they are having good fun
