Send a card to Harrods free to get puppies off the Christmas list

Harrods were selling cross breeds for over £1,000 last time I went. The trouble is idiots are paying that price. Posted about this a while ago.

My friend and I visited Harrods pet department when we were in London a couple of weeks ago. They had quite a few pups, beagles at £1500, dachs at £2000 and frenchies at £2,700! There were also what I would have said were pug x beagles but there were no details for them. In our local paper the following day there were beagles at £350, was tempted to go into business. They also had pet rabbits at £60 ! Not sure where they find the mugs to buy them but they obviously do. Pups were kept in pens with tile floors which were obviously very slippy and their legs kept going from under them, not a good environment. :(

They had a shar pei puppy out and about in the store when I was ther with a pink harness on. It was sitting v still. My OH and MiL would not believe me that it was real and not a toy dog until I touched it and it moved

I was in Harrods on Wednesday and looking at the pets.
They had Beagles for sale for £1500, and then "Puggles" (Pug x Beagles) for sale at £2000
They also had chi puppies for £1500 and then American Cocker Spaniels for £2000. The ACS were VERY cute so will no doubt sell :(

I must have my head buried in the sand. I honestly and truthfully did not know that you could buy puppies from pet shops in this country. I was horrified to watch that minature animal program the other day with the USA woman but really I had no idea :-( will be sending card and donation shortly.

bloomin 'ECK!

signed too.

Just a quick note - as far as I know Harrods have policy of the puppies/kittens they sell only being in the store for a few hours a week (8 sounds right?) from the breeder's homes. They have lots of bumpf about doing home checks etc. before selling too (although I don't know if they follow up on this). It's still not right of course but thought people should know that!

Didn't Harrods used to sell Tigers and all sorts of exotics too?
