Well I am attempting a spot of dressage this weekend with my new forest pony, Lucky. We have never tried anything like this before so just a little walk/trot test just getting him out and about again seeing the world now that he is back to full fitness after a back bout of laminitis meaning 13 weeks box rest! Hopefully we will do a bit better than last week when we did an inhand competition, m&m, and we came 6th (out of 6 haha) where the judge said she wanted to see more weight on him, argh!! No wonder a lot show ponies look like they could turn laminitic any second. Anyway, rant over, I have learnt the test, just need to persuade lucky we can do a nice dressage test without being a cheeky pony haha

Good luck with the stressage at least a pony is allowed to be a healthy weight.

We usually have a comment of 'bucking, disobedient' so don't worry about cheeky

We survived!!! haha, he was a very well behaved little chap, I remembered to smile too!! We came 5th with a score of 57.82% and we won a goody bag for best turned out. Good job really as i'm a freelance groom!!
