I'm 99% of the way through filling in forms to have a saddle collected tomorrow for delivery to Walsall for alteration, but the Courier's "Prohibited Items" part includes "Animal skins / Furs / Any Animal Parts including meat / Ivory and ivory products"
Argh, this includes leather, doesn't it? Or does it? Major fine if I get it wrong...
Thanks to anyone who advises!

No you'll be fine. If you were sending skins that might be different but that exclusion is for CITES (I think it's CITES!) and unless your saddle is made of VERY exotic stuff it won't be counted.

You are fine!

Ivory is restricted, furs are dodgy and meat goes off and poses a health and safety hazard

If you PM the courier I can confirmed whether we've used them for leather?
