Hello

I have 5yr old horse that is super in everyway but would really like him to do a seasons hunting this Autumn/winter to open him up and help him become more forward thinking. What are everyone's thoughts on this? Can you put them to a hunt yard where someone will hunt them for you?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes of course you can, I know someone who could offer this depending on the area you are based?

Yes you can, I had someone's horse on loan to be last season, benefitted both of us, as I was short of a horse and he needed some more work, so no charge. Would be worth working out how far you are prepared to let him travel and then contacting hunts in that area and seeing if they recommend anyone on their hunt who is good with young horses IMO.
