now i know about BN, Disco, Newc, Fox and then 2nd rounds etc.

But do BN n Disco just go to scope for finals?

and then you have your blue chips at those heights like on ponies?

all this senior stuff, with new heights is gonna confuse my brain!!

You've got the above right! You may also want to do age classes on him if things are going well between you, they'll be in the Summer, will he be 5 or 6 then? Best thing is to have a good look at your rule book, and also at schedules of places you want to go. Your trainer will probably be able to point you in the right direction too.
 
Yep i think BN and Disco finals are at scope.

The blue chip classes are equenox novice, elevator discovery, power, performance, star and dynamic b&c.

And then there are amateur classes at 90cm, 1m, 1,10m and 1.20m.

It says about all the classes on the bsja website.

It is a bit confusing when you first make the move from ponies to horses, but basically there are just a load more classes and qualifiers to choose from in horses and the classes have larger entries! I much prefer it to ponies though.
