Sensitive but strong TB ex-racer

Can't use my usual bit for hacking - I've not control!
Any suggestions?

Thought of trying a ordinary waterford or perhaps a Dutch gag-version or a myler combi?

Have no experience of KK bits (are these what some people call Sprenger bits?). How do they compare with the Neue Schule range.

What bit are you in normally? I have found that TB's respond really well to very gentle bits and extremely light hands. Any pressure and they take hold. I ride mine in a straight bar nathe out hacking even in company and I use a waterford snaffle for SJ and XC

A hackamore, go with something completely different than what they're used to, its worked really well for a few that i've had.
