Just recently I have been experiencing real problems getting my mares bridle on, I am able to get it on one ear but is very difficult to get it on the other ear. She will run away or duck her head to make it impossible to get it on. However when grooming she has no problem with me touching/grooming her ears.
I would be very grateful if anyone replied with any ideas to overcome it:)

The summer fly cream that you have in the UK seems to work quite well. It's the yellow stuff and I think it's made by Hydrophane, but no doubt there will be someone from the UK along who will advise you on, perhaps something better that is now on the market (I haven't lived in the UK for some time so don't know what's the newest and best product)

Well you'd have to make sure it is aural plaques; you know what they look like? They are little dots (about the size of a match head) that look kind of powdery. You can sometimes feel them also. If it isn't them then you're back to square one, if it is I don't call the vets out for them but, as always, you do what you feel is best if you aren't familiar with them.

Yes, I just looked them up, I had a look today and didnt seem to see anything/feel anything. But maybe having seen a picture I may have more of an idea of what I'm looking for.
