I am appalled at this campaign methodology.
The shirts are £30 each of which only **£2** goes to the AHT.
As these shirts are probably made abroad where they will cost about £2 each to be made it means that Puffa will be raking in a vast profit for these shirts.
I suggest that anyone who is "Serious About Strangles" writes a cheque for £30 out to the AHT and gets a T shirt from a charity shop instead in support of the British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research or similar. This will benefit both strangles research and other worthwhile charities.
This 'campaign' amounts to exploitation of the nievity of the equestrian public.
I certainly will NOT be buying a T shirt but WILL be sending a cheque for £30 to the AHT for this research.
DON'T buy these T shirts. Write out a charity cheque instead and the charity can reclaim the VAT and earn even more than the face value of the cheque.
I'd rather my £30 went to the research and not into the pocket of Puffa
I find £30 for a shirt that would retail at about £15 and only £2 to the 'cause' is absolutely disgusting.
Boycott these T shirts and boycott Puffa until they donate AT LEAST 50% of the cost of the T shirt to the research.
Don't be a mug and give Puffa more money.
