He does that as well - as soon as my hand goes up there. It can be a bit dangerous, as he's a shiverer! I have to keep a careful eye on the leg that's in the air!Makes the job easier for the washer! My old horse who I’ve mentioned to you before that Alf reminds me of used to lift one hind leg up high for me ?
Mine let me know in no uncertain terms when it was time. I thought he was colicky the first few times. Turns out he was just demanding a willy wash. Poor boyPoor old boys, mine was the same
It must be awful with all that itchy old gunk, having to wait for someone to sort it for you
Amusingly, it is exactly that colour/pattern!I thought the lady's leg behind him was his willy for a minute.. Very unfortunate colour to be wearing in that exact moment
He used to be so clean that I rarely needed to do anything with it. A couple of years ago he got flystrike, and ever since then, I've had to keep a really careful eye on him, as he's turned into a dirty old man!Poor old boys, mine was the same

Public service announcement, for those who have older geldings. If you have the misfortune to have a bout of flystrike - ivermectin wormer is your friend. I keep one in my medicine cupboard, just in case. It sorts the problem out within hours.
ETA - use it topically, not orally!
I too mistook the legs in the background for something else.
He's special. Didn't you know?so did I and he appeared to, erm, have two appendages
