Well she's arriving late next week (tips to make time go faste?r??)

She's a 16.1hh Holsteiner with plenty of TB blood, 4 years old and literially been sat on twice but needs to go back and do all the ground work.

And GOD can she move and jump!

Proof everything happens for a reason with the other one failing the vet ect as this one is in a completely different league.

There were like 10 up there in a field and the people said just to pick out the ones i liked best to bring in and see move/loose jump and she basically picked me really, came rightbup to me, followed me around ect. Seems like a real sweetheart and so pretty too!

I think Squirrel might be converted to being straight when he sees her yet!

Here's a video From her advert

Ahh excited! And a good excuse to go buy her some stuff this weekend :p

Also she hasn't got a name (stable or passported!) so any ideas? Am thinking Lexi for stable name and Spellbound Lexicon as a stable name which doesn't make sense but i like it ha.

oooh horse shopping love it. You'll have to put loads of pics on here when you get her. Love the name sounds very elegant. :) I usually stretch out the days eg if she was coming next sun, i wouldn't count today obv. so you have Sun, Mon,Tues,Weds,Thurs,Fri and Sat you'd be busy getting stable ready so its up to you if you want to count that day, so really in my world theres only 5 days till she comes :)

Haha i like that!

Not sure exactly when she's coming, the transporter is in holland ATM, but they said end of next week so hoping Thurs or Fri, which by your reckoning could be as little as 3 days then :p

I work freelance and as i don't know what time or day she's coming I'm packing all my work on mon tues and wed so I'm only working a couple of hours thurs and fri so hopeful speed it up!

Looks fantastic - so pleased for you after all the hooha with the last horse and the other failed vettings. You've definitely got a classy end to your horse shopping mission :)

I'm so happy you didn't end up with another (boring) bay josahorse (sorry couldn't resist ;) ) she looks lovely though!

With my lack of ponys, if you need help with any of your collection, you know where I am!

Bex don't my mother is delighted lol! you need to come have a sit on Squiz and if you fancy it, I would do with someone to ride Squirrel as an escort on her first hacks when the time comes and also eventually when she needs to go xc schooling ECT :)

Oh she is absolutely beautiful - congratulations! Is she going to be your next eventing horse?

I think that if you turn all the things you need to buy into an online project for each day, then the time will go very quickly indeed!

oo she is really really gorgeous. How exciting! My tip to make the time go really quickly is to be on holiday!! - work days go 4 times slower :p

Haha I bet! 2 greys and 2 bays now lol, but she is gorgeous :)

I'm more than happy to come and assist in any way you want, as long as it can be fitted in around my shifts! Lol

Very nice :) I'm pleased you found something you love in the end. I have a couple of Holsteiners and they are huge in comparison to her but I actually think because your new mare is half TB it makes her far more elegant than the hulking great fullblood Holsteiners like mine. One thing Holsteiners are good at is jumping! Congratulations :)

Thank you everyone! One less day to go!

The mule - i think so, there wasn't much room after the jump before needing to turn. I also think she needs to learn to travel forwards after the fence a bit more.

She's only jumped a couple of times and passed 2 vets and x-rays so I'm sure it'll be sorted with schooling once we get to that point :D
