Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Serrapeptase?
A fellow livery has suggested it as a possible treatment for my dog who is about 4/10ths lame on left front leg.
Dog is currently under care of vet and physio and is on week 2 of a 6 week house rest programme.
I've not had X-rays done yet, these are next on the agenda if the rest doesn't work.
She has had a 7 day course of metacam, week off drugs, followed by a 10 day course of rimadyl. Both improved the lameness to about 2/10ths but did not eliminate. Lameness has returned to 4/10ths once off the drugs.
She's very stoic so doesn't give many clues about where in the leg the pain is but I had a thermal scan done which is showing bicep and delts as hotspots.
Anyway, back to the original question, I can't see much online on any reputable websites about Serrapeptase, does anyone have any more info? What does it do, how does it work, any success stories?
