Ok so have 2x mares plus a foalie all in same field. Now, i KNOW I shouldn't but when I'm in a hurry I take their feed down to them, and leave it outside the field whilst I catch the 5yr old. Once she's out I then give the mare and foal their feed and take 5yrold over the way for hers. Not the safest plan in the world, but hey, most times it works
Except tonight I was in field checking foalie and there was a bit of a scuffle as all had eyes on feed, cue 5yrold running blindly into me and knocking me over in the dust
Landed on my cheek (the one on my face!)and my ar*e (the one, well, on my ar*e)
Loked around to see if anyone about to pick me up. There wasn't. So had to dust myself off and carry on
'And let that be a lesson to me!'
