As title. I know they recommend once a year but as a single horse owner doing 5/6 full clips per season, would you really do an annual service?
I have had Moser Rex dog trimmers for over 20 years for doing heels etc but am now doing full clips with Liveryman Mustang clippers which are pretty old (borrowed). I had them serviced last year and can''t believe heavy duty clippers need doing this often. They are made for clipping several horses a day. I'm trying to remember if my trimmers have ever been serviced!!!!

I open ours up myself and just give them a clean inside if there's nothing wrong with them, that's probably all a basic service is, plus oiling all the bits that need oiling. They only go to a paid for service if they aren't working and we can't fix them, they're not bad things to work on t be honest.

Thanks, reckon they can go another couple of years without servicing then unless they go wrong
