Can anyone help me cost this out?
I am looking to set up a 24 hour equine transport service for my local area, so if anyone needs urgently a horse taking to vets I would be "on call" and able to be booked out. Would also do run of the mill transport jobs too. Anyone got any ideas on DEFRA operators licence? And how to get it? Also what type of insurance you would need and who to go to? Lorry currently insured for private use by anthony evans, but if all goes well I will be looking at upgrading my lorry in the next year or so if doing this and taking on a wider client base. Anything else I need to think about? I have got some money free at the moment so looking for any new investment ops and ideas and think this could work!
