How many of you have constant shade in your field??

Its so hard to know what to do with them with the weather the way it is, its so bloody hot.

They sweat in the stable and in the field they seem to be ok, they all have fly rugs on and masks, (pesky flies) but i get a bit concerned because they dont have any shade at all during the day when its hot.
They have plenty of water, oooh what to do

Hate this weather :-Z

mine only have shade first thing in the morning and after 4 oclock. they have fly rugs on as the flys are hurrendoes round here and my gelding has flectron tags in his mane to keep the flys off him when he doesnt have his fly rug on. when it gets really hot they sometimes get abit warm in their fly rugs but they arnt being eaten alive by flys so i leave them on. we have wooden stables which are like a sauna!

Lacey's field has lots of shade and she can get down into the river with high banks which are great at blocking out the sun. They spend most there time down there as when you go to get her in in the morning she's down in the river.

Funny you say your wooden stables are like saunas, are's are really cool.
