Shaken and tearful - hugs required please :)

No idea of the cost so apologies if it is stupid but if they are that threatening, what about having CCTV put up by your door? and hope you get this sorted, it must be awful to be so threatened in your own home.

Just one thought seeing as a lot of people on here seem to know this person and have stories here - when next speaking to your policeman is it worth asking him how it would help if others came forward? you don't need to publicise this on an open forum but I would think by now you know which other members know the background and some PM;s could maybe help you find others to back you up.
 
To be honest the more I think about the fact he's come round and announced what he's going to do makes him unlikely to do it (hopefully - have asked police to have a word with him but not heard anything yet - want him to realise he's not going to get away with intimidating us in our home) but we've heard nothing from him or her as yet so fingers crossed it's over with but would be much happier when do see her in lane there is an independant witness around!
 
You still should NOT have to put up with this. It is completely unreasonable and bullying at the very worst. So easy to threaten as then your victim is always waiting.

I would still look at CCTV or dummy CCTV but it is probably worth asking the police what other evidence you could gather to add more back up for you.

Maybe borrow a couple of noisy dogs as well? Mine are only small, being staffie bull terriers but they are extremely vocal and let me know in no uncertain times if anyone has the temerity to walk near the house. (they do shout up once I have come down, looked and said thank you!)
 
Buy yourself a recorder, so each time they turn up and abuse you, just switch it on and have a book or writing pad next to it so you can detail what time they came and went,and after a month take to a solictor and then the police also take a copy of it. If you have evidence the police cann't turn a blind eye and would give a solictor more umph. best of luck
