What is your favourite shampoo for horses? And whats your way on how to make a horse shine? (Random I know xD)

I like Dirty Beastie ( mostly for the name but it smells good too and a 5l tub lasts me about 3 years!)

and for shine I use the alvahorse alvadazzle for their tail, and alvagleam for their coat. plus theyre fed a high oil diet anyway.

superdrug coconut oil conditioner and dirty beastie shampoo. I use show sheen for shine on coat but dont spray near saddle area or you will be off- slippery!!!!

For bays, chestnuts etc the cheapest human shampoos work fab ie Sainsburys
For greys I used non bio daz, it works a treat

I like the Red Rum brand of shampoo and Naf mane and tail detangler, it works well as a way of keeping the tail clean (I have a grey horse).

Umm... Herbal Essences! or if I'm feeling poor Asda or Tesco's own brand shampoo. Makes them smell lovely!

Tesco own brand - cheap as chips and does the same job an £8 bottle from the tack shop does.

Horses are too easy a way to get poor - and shampoos are one of the greatest rip offs!

I use Gallop for bays, it brings out her colour lovely.

I use Naf mane & tail detangler every day and I use Pig Oil every night after I've brushed her. Just put a tiny bit on a sponge and rub all over, the best thing is its not slippy and after a week what a beautuful shine.

i use asda or tesco own. my mare is coloured and it brings her up whiter than alot of the horsey shampoos......
i condition the tail as well as shampoo.
