Shampoo

My beautiful coloured mare tends to get incredibly grubby and after her first bath of the year there were still some patches on her legs that were stained. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo for getting my white bits whiter than white??? lol

Cowboy Magic, Quic Silver, IV Horse equine shampoo and Supreme stain remover shampoo are all brilliant... After shampooing her legs, apply some chalk powder and bandage her legs overnight. In the morning simply brush off the chalk powder dust and voila - she'll have lovely white legs!

An aquaintance of mine always swore by Daz non-bio washing powder followed by glo-white net curtain whitener.... turns the white bits purple for a while, but it dries whiter than white! Not sure I would use it, but it seemed to work for her horse!

the persil green washing up liquid its great! check that shes not allergic and then scrub in leave for 5 mins and rinse off
