Share a pony days? (Scottish HHOers please!)

Good afternoon all,

I was hoping there might be someone in the East Lothian/Borders/Edinburgh area who knows of places that do "Own a pony days" or similar in the summer?

A workmate's daughter is big into horses and is only 7. He reckons she'd love to do something like this in the summer and it would also be good for her to learn about the stable/horse management also. She has been having weekly lessons for the last 6months and is now off the lead rein in walk and able to start/stop/turn.

Any ideas would be welcomed so I can pass them on! Cheers!

I know for a fact the we do them at my yard - www.westerdeanhead.co.uk - but don't know if it's too far north for you

Thanks. Will pass on the website to him, might not be too far and they can go off and do something nice for the day nearby while their daughter is at the yard!

Try the equi centre in Lanark - I used to ride there, have nice ponies! :-D

tower farm do them .

failing that i have a small grump pony she could come play with a few days a week

Asbo - will try googling Tower Farm thanks. I'm sure you don't mean it about your wee pony, he/she must have been caught on a bad day/week/month/year?!

would be happy for her to come learn some stuff with fizz, i have my 2 children at the yard playing in the summer anyway so would be fun for them

There's a riding school in West Linton that does that kind of thing in the summer. Google 'Whitemoss' or PM me if interested.

Whiteloch Farm, Appin EC-both are on the BHS approved RS lists.

My kids have lessons at Tower Farm. Nice folk.
