Where can I get a copy of a share agreement. A friend and I are buying a horse between us and want to split everything 50/50. But I always think it pays to set things out before friendships are tested

I personally wouldnt even go there. In my experience buying a horse with someone else can only end in tears, espec if you both end up wanting different things out of it.

I wouldnt even know where to start on an agreement as you would both have equal rights.

Think it will work out fine. Already have one horse which OH has just started riding. Getting another one so we can go out riding together, this one will jump, box is small enough to get on from the ground if necessary. Friend doesnt want a full time commitment as has a young family but wants to hack, and have lessons. OH works away quite often, so it should work out quite well

You could have a look at the British Horse Society loan agreement and see if you can adapt that. I would also have everything laid out in writing and witnessed, so that you both know exactly what you are doing. Good luck
