I would love to her how people of got on with ulcer treatments other than gg. Such as aloe vera, slippery elm, chamomile, any brands of ones you can buy from feed/tack shop. I know only gg treats the ulcer just looking at others thst help to relieve the symtoms and maje the horse more comfortable.
 
After GG, I used Equitop Pronutrin for a while. (V expensive though!)

Now I feed slippery elm and Equine Science Gastric Maintenance. Not sure how effective this is as he hasn't been scoped for almost a year now but feel like I have to be doing something.
 
I feed 15g per day. At the moment I give it in the morning and his Gastric Maintenance at night as supposedly the slippery elm can affect the absorption of other supplements. (Think this is beacuse it coats the digestive tract).

Am going to try to split the slippery elm between breakfast and dinner though and give the Gastric Maintenance at bed time when my horse moves home.
