Will be lovely to hear anyone’s success story and maybe photos. When I say ‘problem’, have you overcome any problems you thought perhaps you might not with your horse? Ever got a new horse and not get on with them in the slightest, for persistence to then change it further down the line? Fire away with the stories :)

Not a problem horse more just too much horse for me. For him at 5 and 16.3hh. Used to buck me off regularly. Lost most of my confidence on him. Have worked thru it thou. I happily hunt and jump him now. Tbh I'm still more confident on friends horses who I have never ridden than I am on him. I'm only 5ft 3" and he's a big strong boy to jump and I sometimes struggle. That said, he's with me for life, so we will continue to pootle along together.

I bought Arnie as a foal because "how hard can it be to back a cob". Firstly he didnt make the height I wanted and I felt far too big on him. Then he proved to be a bit of a problem child - he had attitude and used it :(. Next problem was teeth, then a back problem. In between all this the attitude stayed - and got worse.

Major Kevin tantrums at 5 and I ended up back on the lead rein getting led along in tears. Thanks to help from friends and some nh which sorted out the attitude, he has turned into the most amazing wee guy ever. He is now 9 and he is the best horse I could wish for (although he's still a bit wee for me ;) ). He is bombproof and so willing and keen yet will look after beginners.

The day he arrived
