SHARER - Cant find one!!

Hi All,

I have been advertising for a sharer for my mare... but im getting no responses.

Does anyone have any advice? good websites I can advertise on?

I want to find the right sharer for her, but not even getting a nibble!!

I think I must be advertising in the wrong places too.

Looking for a sharer for both of mine - as cheeky NF pony and my new horse but so far nothing.

But yet everytime I see a thread on here there are loads of people who can't find sharers.

I think mine is partially to do with the fact that it would be mainly weekdays as I compete mine at the weekends.
 
where are you advertising?
Have you worded advert well enough?

Spring is coming so I can imagine riders will start wanting to share again...

I am stuggling aswel to find a loan horse..just doesn't seem to be much out there at the moment, or they are selling?..

I found my share on Newrider.

Have you tried putting an ad in local tack shop? Tell your farrier too as they may know of someone at a nearby yard looking for a share.

I'm having the same problem, I have my horse in Hertfordshire and have had little interest. Try Pre-Loved I have just put my mare on there so fingers crossed!

if you are within bus or driving distance from a uni try their riding club or website as many people give up their horses before they go to uni and would love to help out and tend to have time during the weekdays just thought i'd suggest this as i am a student and advertised my self 3 months ago as looking for a horse to help with exercise and i am still getting replies feel awful having to say no to people
