Hi guys,

I know you love these... My recent sharer has only given me a few days notice of going to work full time, and hence, no longer able to share

I've popped an ad on 'newrider', 'preloved' and hopefully one coming out in my local paper. I'm really keen for someone to do mornings so hoping to aim at bored housewife / shiftworker...? Any suggestions of where else to advertise?

This is the ad:

15.3 safe & sensible Gelding available to ride. He is excellent to hack both alone & in company - fantastic hacking on doorstep. Kept at private yard with menage, tea room & excellent facilities. He is a riding club allrounder & has put his hand to everything - hunting, SJ, XC, dressage & showing etc. Need someone competant & reliable. Keen for someone to do minimum of couple of weekdays and possible weekend day, but call for friendly chat to discuss. Stabled in Penn near High Wycombe. Looking for small contribution of shoeing per month.

How does this sound - do you think there will be any takers?

Thanks & cookies!

Ooh sounds lovely!! You shouldnt have any problem finding anyone with such a lovely horse and brilliant facilities! I have a very sensible horse I would like to share but as I only have a field, its quite hard finding one.
On other places to advertise, do you have a local shop where you could put a notice up in the window? That has worked for me previously. Other than that, local papers are normally a good bet.

I noticed in this months your horse magazine that there was an article on sharing and it mentioned a website 'www.yours2share.com' ? Worth a try?
