im looking for a reliable sharer (like hens teeth i know) i currently have a girl come to ride the pony but she only comes at weekends and he really needs to be exercised during the week as well. there would be no chores, riding six times a week if they wanted (hes sitting in the field doing nothing) im looking for a contribution of £100 a month which only really covers half shoes and livery. i have advertised in the local tack shop and ad trader and horsemart but have only had three people ring about him one didnt bother to turn up, one couldnt ride for toffee and the girl who rides him now
what am i doing wrong

£100 pm sounds fine to me, especially if there are no chores. I would think it has more to do with the time of year. You'll get a better response from March onwards. Weed out the lightweights though who will be gone in October!

I sympathise, have been looking for over a month and it seems that 'sharing' just isn't popular now - and I was advertising a 100% schoolmaster! Given up and accepted that a) I have to keep paying and b) so what if I can only ride at weekends!
