Hi I have a sharer who has been sharing my horse1 1/2 years I think.

Originally I wanted 2 - 3 days a week. She wanted 1 day a week, we settle on two due to her comiments. About 11 months ago she said she would have to cut it down to one for a while due to work etc. Nearly a year later its still only once a week, which doent help allot financially and keeping my boy fit and lean. But I bit my tongue grined and bear it. Well today she said Aug is coming up and its a bad time for her with kids and work and she wants to cut it down to twice a month!!:( I said no I am not having that. Lovely family but think this is to much.
So my questions is how many of you would accept just twice a month and how many would say no I will get another sharer??

I would keep her, but look at getting a second sharer. I take it you don't have time to ride more?
I would however say that she had to fit n with someone else if it was only every other week. I would also possibly charge more, as twice a month is more like horse hire, and less like a sharer. I ended up with a lady like this, who rode less often due to health issues, she paid me £20 a time, although it was her call, as I wasn't really after a sharer for the cash.

personally i have and would say no again, i had to tell the girl who shared my old pony that i would be finding a new sharer and was giving her the 30 days notice as per our agreement because she said she would only be able to come once every other week on days to suit her as and when, essentially she said she would ring when she was on her way and i could go tack up the pony for her so maybe not quite the same

The trouble is caring for my lami mare, running this yard runing the catery
(CPL) Also lost interest in schooling when my mare got lami I hack him out + ride and lead him , I am more interested in western. The reason for the sharer is my lad thrives on work. He is over weight due to grass as they all are. I just thiunk its taking the *P* a bit , as mentioned its more like horse hire. She changes her day regularly at the weekend due to them going down to the coast. I really bend over backwards to help them. They are a nice family but I need someone who I can rely on more.

There are so many jobs around here to do in the summer , so I need to know on those days I will have at least one weekend day either to have a slightly restfull day or get on with painting etc.

I am charging £15 per time.
