How does everyone who shares their horsey ask for payment?
I have a couple of sharers who do a couple of days each.
Delicate question i don't know how to ask

My Mum has a sharer for Max and there is very little money involved. Its some thing that needs to be sorted out at the begining, so everyone knows where they stand.
Mums sharer justs gets the odd bag of feed here and there, but I know some people have their sharer pay towards livery, shoes etc. It really is dependant on the reason for sharing aswell, eg. my Mum just wanted some one to excercise Max for her so she could have the odd day off, but I also know some one that needs the money.

I'm a sharer and just pay up as soon as I've been paid. Don't need to be prompted or anything.

Maybe I'm too honest but my owner can be a bit forgetful and not ask so I make sure its paid. Don't think my concsious (sp?) would let me not pay

ETS: When I frst tried Ellie we discussed it then and I asked how she wanted me to pay and took it from there.

When I part loaned I just gave the owner £100 a month in cash after I had been paid. I know people that have set up standing orders into the owners account as well.

I pay £7.50 per day, and leave it in a tin in Jacks tack cupboard. I think it is classed as a contribution to shoeing and the facilities cost at the yard. I text Jacks owner if i need to get in touch with her or leave a note in the tin if it is not urgent.

I tend to bring Jack and his best buddy in (buddy is Jack's owners sisters) and then groom him before riding/lesson. Then turn them back out and sort out the stalls. I don't have to do the buddy but he gets stressed if he is left in the field without Jack, and tbh it is just as easy to sort 2 feeds out as it is one.
