I have a quality horse sat in the field doing nothing atm. Would like him to get out hacking/light schooling (no more due to past injury). Not a mugs ride, but equally not a lunatic. Cheap/free for right person. Will do the local tackshops but are there any decent websites for advertising on?

When I was looking for a share (in Oxford) I looked all over, I tried things like newrider, preloved, gumtree, your horse, horseshares uk and horse mart. I googled it and it sent me all over the place looking at adverts.
hope this is of some use to you

Friday-Ad (Horsemart but localised for your area- searchers can choose their nearest town). Its really good, its basically horsemart, so I think your ad goes on there too.

Umm.. New rider is always a good one as said above.

But your best bet for someone local is in tack shops, and at Countrywide (ive seen tonnes of good ones there). Maybe at local livery yards or riding stables too.
