can anyone give me an idea if £25.00 per week is a reasonable sum to ask a sharer to pay? My 16h gelding is available most weekdays and a sat morning with a min of 2 days/rides required. Not a novice ride. He is on full livery so mucking out is only required on a sat. The yard has good offroad hacking and flloodlit menage facilities and plenty of friendly people to hack out with if required.

Im in kenilworth, warks in case anyone looking is interested?

I pay £50 a month for a similar horse, although i dont have to do any stable duties if i dont want to. I would say £25 is quite expensive.

it depends what the sharer can do with him, just hack/school, or compete, hunt etc... and what facilities your yard has.

I am happy for him to hunt, dressage etc . Basically the sharer has the opportunity to ride as much as they like so I feel that £20 to £25 is a reasonable price.?

Well considering it costs £22 an hour to hack out a riding school horse round here, I think it's a bargain.

I pay similar to that but consider myself very very very lucky as its not even close to half the "running" costs of a horse!

i pay £35 a week so yes, i personally believe £25 is reasonable
