hi guys just a quick question i share a pony an myself and owner what to take her out to a few local unaffiliated dressage and show jumping competitions. Are 2 different riders allowed to ride the same horse in the same class ie we both enter the intro a class so horse will do it twice? Thanks guys

Usually a rider can enter twice on two horses, but a horse can’t be entered twice with two riders.
But I would ask the organisers as they’re all different

No. Mostly the horse can only be entered once per class with the exception being Clear Round jumping.

Yea those where my thoughts to! Looks like ill be learning the harder dressage test to do a different class then ? thank you xx

It depends who is running the show, we were quite happy for people to do that with riding club shows.

Speak to the show runners. There are two sisters at my yard who share a pony, and our local unaff dressage lets them both do the same test.

No but the second rider can sometimes do the same class HC.
