Sharing?

I'm currently on the look out for a sharer for my mare, having never shared a horse I'm a bit lost in it all, do people have contracts as they do with loaning? and how do you work out how much to share the bills?-dependent on how many days and what they do? any previous experiences sharing good and bad?

With my share we have got a contract. This means that I know exactly where I stand with the owners and allows us to just get on with things. I have got my 'set' days, but we re both flexible and te contract is worded so as well. If just split the bills in how many days they have to ride
Also my share is working out really well and I am really pleased with everything and I am sure the owner is pleased with it too
