i have just recently gone back to shavings, and was amazed by how expensive some are.
i managed to get dust extracted ones for £5.95 delivered, but when i asked in my local feed shop, they were £9.25. what a difference
just wondered what everyone else pays

I've been paying between £7 - 9. I had a break from horses and recently acquired a really wet and mucky horse, was not happy when bought 4 bales at nearly £30, rubbish!

Good god! I'm so glad mine live out!

ahem, well, father has just bought 432 (yep you read that right, its TWO YEARS supply!!!!!) and it bought it down to £5 a bale rather than £7 by buying in bulk, so a huge saving, but also a huge outlay all at once.

Around £7.50 for Allspan. Had some other non-branded ones that were pretty much the same as Allspan, dust-extracted. They were around £5 a bale.
