There is an inhand show that I want to attend close to me. In the rules it states that I must be a member of the above. The class is a 3 year old potential sports horse class, does this mean that I can only be in the class if my horse was bred in this country? I am very confused!!!

Cheers hon. There is a class at heathfield show that I would love to do with Alee but didn't quite understand the bit about SHB GB. Will look at the schedule again and see what it says exactly unless you have it to hand!!!

Ring them and check what they require. I am sure that your horse does NOT need to be bred in England, but their membership rules are a little complicated, so it is best to ask them direct!

Just looked into it further and I need to have her markings done by the vet. Its £25 for the overstamp plus I need to be a member £40 this inluding the price of the vet works out very expensive for one show. Maybe i'll leave to pro showing to someone else!!

I was going to have Axeys AHS passport overstamped by SHB GB until I found out they have to be done by the vet etc

What a shame you can't go to Heathfield, when I did a Sport Horse Class with Axey he didn't have to be registered

Are you sure that you have to be a member? I am sure you can get a "day ticket" which means you can do the class without being a full member. I am never 100% sure how this works, but worth calling them back and checking. Explain you are only doing one class this year (they are always keen to get in hand classes filled as much as possible) and they should be able to advise the cheapest way of doing it!
