She’s now on a steep learning curve for manners around me. I’ve had a couple of “oh god I remember you” faces from her, then she behaves. I’m well known for expecting perfect manners on the ground and none of mine put a foot out of place. She’ll come round, and I’m very consistent and patient, but yes, manners make them a joy to have around, bolshy buggers don’t.
