I put a post up on here less than a week ago (i think) about a horse Ruby that i went to see and fell in love with.
She was quite wonky through her left hind leg from what we saw in the video...

Had the vet out today to get Ruby vetted and sure enough she came up lame in the flexion tests and during lunging.
We decided to go no further and stop at a 2 stage vetting, instead of the 5 which we were initially going to have.

I'm glad in a way. I'd rather not waste a couple of thousand on a 5 year old that is already a bit lame, with splints as well!
I've come out feeling very optimistic, it being fate and all that.

Going back once the snow has melted to look at two more at the same place.
Both chestnuts, ones 6 and the other is 12.

This is probably going to sound like a really stupid question but why did you have a horse vetted that was lame?

We didn't know she was deffo lame. She just might of had a little niggle or something. I would of definately not of spent quite a lot of dosh on getting her vetted if it was 100% And + the fact that i really did fall in love with her lol.

These things happen for a reason i suppose, this is just getting me a step closer to finding my new horsey.

And i am looking for a 'could be' showjumper,
And about 5-12 years max.

Sorry to hear that, but as you say, probably for the best Still sad though, after you've already fallen for her.

Hope the right one comes along soon.
