She had her 1st sleep over last night!!

Daisy stayed at Grannies house last night for the 1st time, it was so strange the house felt empty when she had gone!! But she was a good girl, she ate her tea and didnt whinge too much, my mil said she cried abit when they went to bed but soon settled, but she did tell me she left the lights on in the room as she didnt like to leave her in the dark!! I have said she needs to put the lights out or Daisy wont know its bed time!!
Im very pleased she is going to go on a regular basis now to get ready for when i go away on holiday!

No, only joking of course, it sounds like she was a good girl though, and I completely agree, it is good for dogs to stay away from home/you occasionally to prepare them for holidays etc

Glad she behaved herself

I am sad though, I am so used to always having a dog (or several dogs!) in the house that I hate it without them, everything is so still and quiet

Good Daisy!! I suspect she will end up like Sweep - quite happy to go to Granny and Granpa's for sleep overs as he gets spoilt rotten when he is there!! Gets given roast dinner left overs etc and has his own chair by the tv - and thats just the stuff I know about!!

Its really weird no dog!! I even looked for her this morning! She is such a small dog with a huge presence!
