Sheath infections

Vet already in contact , horses has horrible looking sheath and showing signs of cystsis ?? always on a weekend ?? but never the less , hopefully meds will keeo him more comfortable , anybody dealt with infection in sheath lile this

Sounds horrible, but I'm sure antibiotics will clear it up x

Yes, it was a bean! Had a good clean, bean removal and antibiotics and was fine. Think the part blockage had caused uti and inflammation. Hopefully something as simple for yours ??

I knew one like this, it was a heart issue causing circulation problems, causing swelling in the sheath, causing the horse to wee a little, frequently.
