The local farmer has kindly put his sheep on my land to get in under control, but seems the sheep are hell bent on grazing one area in particular which is getting quite cropped. Just wondering if this is going to be detrimental to the land in the long run? I've asked him to move them to one of my other paddocks, but he's slow doing so! Thanks.

Cant you find a helper & move them through to the other paddock? sheep are great but like the fresh short grass rather than the longer rougher stuff, once its all down to the same level, they will be fine - they have improved my grass no end - my top field now looks like a bowling green!

i had sheep in with my horses and my grazing looked brillant after. never had a problem with eating tails, only problem i had was that one of my ponies kept picking them up with her teeth.

Oh my life that made me laugh! Eating tails and picking them up with their teeth!!!! That's sooo funny. Cheered me up actually, because I've had a naff day. Ta!
