Sheep Ked on a horse?

Does anyone have any experience of this? A very knowledgeable acquaintance has suggested it's possile and I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of this happening and if so how did they get rid of it?

That's an interesting link, thanks Dubsie. I must say I'd never heard of them. Interesting that they only live 4 days off a sheep so if there is one on a horse, it won't last long.
