What's the process/what are they learning ATM?

In basic terms learning how to balance sheep to the handler, getting a feel for sheep (Mac has a great feel for sheep, whereas Cookie is a little bit more erratic at the moment. Mac has more natural power than Cookie), learning their hands (left/right or more correctly come bye and away), and learning to run out, collect the sheep and bring them to the handler as well as “that’ll do” meaning work has finished for now. Away from sheep they are both being taught to walk to heel, come when called and to travel comfortably in the Land Rover with other dogs and on the quad bike.
