i am making my t/b a shelter she is 16.2hh i am thinking of making it 10ft in lenght and 8ft in weith and 8 and a half foot high would this be bigger enought?

yes that should be fine for a tb of her size...you say a shelter so im guessing she wont be in all of the time..dont see any reason that it should be too small..good luck

i would go for a bit bigger-10x12.
the reason being 8 ft is not very wide if horse rolls in there.
