I thought it made more sense to put up these pics here, as they are all of dogs!
Friends Springer Meg retreiving beautifully on her first ever 'public' retreive!
She's definiely got that mad Springer look!
Finn in the ring. The lurcher show started at noon, and the classes were huge - the first two puppy classes and their champ took an hour and a half. There was no parking by the ring, only in the public car parks, so dogs were becoming fed up or fractious, and Finn certainly switched off - we had arrived at about 10am, and had a look around before turning up at the dog ring. In the end we put him back in the pick up for a couple of hours away from everyone, but he wasn't that chuffed to be brought back to the show! Carol showed him beautifully, he was unplaced (places to third) out of seven, and was delighted to go home - he tolerates showing!
Carols little lurcher boy KC, who won the veteran class.
Sable, rough lurcher bith over 23", whose class we didn't stay for (we were losing the will to live, had been at the fair for six hours!), and Logan, both owned by Carol. Logan is Finns Uncle, his dam is Finns grand-dam, and he won the purebred class.
