so this is the horse i was told i would never be able to ride again, despite only being a 5 year old.

today our vet gave us the okay to start bringing her back into work!


this is the first time ive ridden her in 2-3 months and she didnt put a foot wrong.

she hasnt forgotten a thing that i taught her and even began to hold herself without a rein contact, just lots of inside leg :)

shes my baby & i adore her!
sosososo proud :)


i am aware she is a bit chubby for a tb but what do you expect with a belly full of grass 24/7? haha :D

liking her topline though!

Why were you told you'd never ride her again?
 
apparently she fractured her pastern as a 2 year old & has boney growth around her fetlock. no clue how she passed a 5 stage vetting last year before we bought her but im glad she did now haha
she is currently on danilon and and a joint supp which isnt ideal, but been advised to give it a go as nothing else can be done.

Brilliant! I bet you are over the moon..

Have you also tried magnetic boots? after working? it has seemed to work for other horses (and dogs) with boney changes.
