Shes back!!

My mares has just come back from being broken, so i can start riding now hehe im well happy

just thought id ask you lot what you would to with her from the first couple of weeks, cause id dont want to over face her with to much work! thanks x

i would work her most days.. however i would lunge or long rein her a couple of days and ride her a couple of days.. Dont turn her aay just yet.. you both need to get used to each other.. thats what i would do..

What did she do at the backing yard?

I would gently start schooling her and hacking her and giving her lots of variety and give her a day or two off a week. Play things by ear, you will know what is right for her.

Well they have been working her in the school and hacking out aswell they say shes been going really well. So i was thinking of doing the same with her and shes got a in-hand class in a few weeks so i want to get her ready for that. I was thinking of giving her a couple of months off in the winter then bring her back in the spring x
