Dad picked me up from the yard today and told me that the Welsh Cob in my village who i have been exercising when i can and in charge of feeding a couple of times a week is dead

Owner found her on Friday after a walker reported a pony lying still in the field. Came and found her companion standing over her and nudging her with a foot

they guess it was a heart attack.
She was only 14, never sick or sorry, and one of the biggest characters I've ever seen.
A pony from a nearby riding school has been lent to keep her companion company- she's 30 now and they'd been in the same field for around 10 years. She seems fine. I went to see her just now, had a bit of a cry at the lack of Welsh Cob cantering up, even more so when i looked inside the shed we use to store feed and grooming kit etc and found two pink roses ready to be planted. :'(
RIP Guinness
