my lovely staff x labrador turns 8 on 25Th June Ive had her since she was 6 weeks and been through allot with my old girl from toilet training to when she was attacked by 3 staffs and shes seen and put up with 3 of my kids since birth she taught other children who are afraid of dogs that not all dogs are scary.

Ive put her on senior food and cod liver oil as she can be stiff after walks now and was wondering if there is anything else i can give her to help my old girl :D

You could ask your vet if they think a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement would help, you can still use the human ones (Tesco do a good one) although they are a bit pricier than straight cod liver oil.

When Barney was getting older the vet said to keep his exercise levels constant, so not to drastically increase or decrease them suddenly. So not to take him on holiday and suddenly go for super-long walks without building him up really gently first, that kind of thing:)

Also, if she swims, be sure and dry her off as quickly as possible, erm, what else - maybe she'd like an extra-squishy bed too?

Bless her, she sounds like a lovely girl, always love piccies of her and your daughter:)

i bought her a new bed from dog and horse show i was at she loves it! lol he will swim once u chuck her in but where i am there ain't much places. ill take gradual increase in walk to mind as now its summer i tend to do more with her, she will be attending Subaru meets allot now weathers nice so ill have to gradually up her exercise :D and we have paws in the park as well

thank you she loves the kids well not my 19month he tries to horsey ride her which is simply jumping on her back shouting "clip clop" lol but she puts up with it lol
